John sighs into the microphone, sitting on a stool with his guitar. He looks around the studio to glance at George, snacking away on something nervously. John decides not to wonder what is stressing the young guitarist, and looks at Ringo instead. Ringo is fiddling with his rings, and switches to beat on his snare drum once or twice before going back to fiddling. Paul walks in front of John's view, almost sassily, which kind of makes John want to laugh. But he doesn't. No one laughs in this studio anymore. He turns behind him and smiles wearily at his loving girlfriend, Yoko, before turning back around. "Across the Universe, take one." he mum

"God, that Chinese food was great!" John cried as he rubbed his stomach, just finishing his dinner. The other three Beatles grinned and nodded, George burping and muttering, "'Scuse me." Ringo laughed as he pulled out four fortune cookies from the takeout bag. John swiped his right out of the drummer's hand, and didn't bother removing the piece of paper that held his fortune while he stuffed it in his mouth. Paul sighed and leaned over to John, prying his lips open and pulling the fortune out. He hastily wiped the paper on his sweatervest, not wanting John germs.
